Portraits

Painting someone’s portrait is a very interesting way of getting to know them. It is an intimate study that captures their true essence in how they are perceived by the artist. Everyone sees things a little differently. This is a collection of various characters. Most real, some imagined, and of course, some are a self study at different periods in time. They are one of my favorite things to paint.
